What a year! What a Fiesta! Our heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation to each and every one of you that contributed! The playground was a hit, the performers were fun and the kids seemed to all have a great time. You were all so tremendously generous that we raised over $5,000. The Board of Directors did a great job including; Kathy Stubbs who filled out the Auction Table with her fantastic fund raising skills, Lindy Paul and Karen Buck who coordinated the event with all the Board Members including Bethany Eisenberg and Peter Zeeb. A very special thanks goes to Mass Envelope for providing the T-shirts and Martha Eisenberg for the Design. Thank you also to Jeanne Gedaminsky who manned the Kitchen the whole event, Janet Lane for face painting, Merielle Paul and Bud for manning the front desk, Carl Elder for set up and clean up and all the other behind the scenes helpers with all the various tasks.

As you know the hospital/orphanage in Antigua, Guatemala is a home to many infants, handicapped adults, and teenagers that live there permanently. In addition, the hospital does surgeries and provides care and health education for the local people. We will be using the $5,000 to buy and ship supplies that are much needed. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, creams, aspirin, shampoo, soap and over the counter medicines have been requested. We are also going to provide the Hermano Pedro Organization Home for Abandoned elderly people much needed sheets for their 45 beds and vitamins and cold medicine. Everything we send is hand delivered by private courier and we get a receipt upon arrival.
